ABOUT
I'm Daniel. I work with land.
This page is the long version. Where I come from, what I do all week, and what this project is for.

How I got here
I grew up in Colombia. I studied and started my career in finance, which is where I learned to read numbers and not be scared of them.
Later I helped launch Uber across Latin America. That is where I learned how much work it takes to explain something new to people who have every reason to be skeptical of it.
Today I work with land in the United States. I look at parcels every week. I talk to county offices, surveyors, lenders and builders. I see what makes a piece of land worth buying, and what makes another one a problem you do not find out about until you try to build on it.
Somewhere in there I started noticing the same conversation, over and over. Families who want a home and have already decided it is not for them. Not because someone ran their numbers and told them no, but because nobody had ever walked them through what is actually possible.
What this project is
A weekly email, in English and in Spanish
A show, where I sit down with people who do this work
Essays, when something needs more room than an email gives it
A place to send your question and get a real answer
What it is not
Not a place to buy or sell property
No listings, no prices, no offers
Not financial, legal or tax advice
Nothing for sale here. No course, no coaching, no list
One more thing you should know
I also buy and sell land through my company, Alma Terra Partners. That is a separate business, and it is not what this site is for. You will not find listings, prices or offers here.
ASK DANIEL
Send me your question.
The best ones become episodes.
One email a week about land and homes.
What I am seeing, what it means, and what you can do about it. Plain language, both languages, nothing for sale.
